futurecast # 15 comes from the psyche of mr. Hector Pizarro. a chilean-born, resident of paris, who now works as a musical curator for vallée fm, where he also hosts a weekly show called “chile con mix”, taking inspiration from gilles peterson’s famed “worldwide” show. we’ve come to know hector as a true music lover, with a record collection that stretches across jazz, soul, latin, house, and techno music. the following mixtape can only begin to show-off his love for all kinds of music, touching up on the most experimental beats and abstract atmospheres to provide a suitable soundtrack for gloomy winter days.

our next (long-overdue) mixtape session comes courtesy of a mistery man based out of cologne, germany. all we really know is that his name is Felix and that he likes all kinds of music, because he doesn’t care about genres. for this particular session, Felix asserts “there wasn’t really a concept behind the mix. i just tried to play some new, old, slow, fast, no electronic and electronic tunes, because i like my music eclectic and same goes for mixes”. if you want to keep tracks of his mixtapes, you can check out Felix’s blog or subscribe to his soundcloud feed, we strongly suggest you check some of the mixes out as they all contain really cool musics.

Cerebral Vortex – Vortex Cookies (fLako Omegaman Remix) 14 Flying Lotus – GNG BNG (GNG BNG morphs from tribal stomp to Indian-tinged extravagance to grime, with no subtle shifts. i really like lotus’s ability to employ a variety of devasting percussion and drum breaks in this track) 15 AFX – Fenix Funk (with this piece i decided to give more energy to the mix, with some hard IDM and acid techno)
