madlib’s medicine show series = a prescription of beats!

we recently read about madlib’s new series for the revered stones throw label via their twitter (@stonesthrow) and it’s safe to say that we are highly enthused about it. madlib medicine show no. 1: before the verdict, is the first of a one-a-month, twelve-CD series from Madlib on his own imprint, Madlib Invazion. this first installment offers 17 tracks that heavily feature guilty simpson, who is currently collab-ing with madlib under the aka oj simpson.

madlib medicine show no. 2: flight to brazil, will be a mixtape of brazilian jazz, funk, prog-rock, folk and psychedelia. later releases will include beat konducta in africa.

each release on the series should become available on CD & vinyl, as well as digitally via the stones throw site.
