on this past october 18th, legendary detroit techno producer carl craig joined forces with pianist francesco tristanto and les siècles orchestra for an instant-classic, one-off presentation at cité de la musique in paris, france. much in the style of jeff mills’ “blue potential”, this performance delivers a solid interpretation of original detroit classics re-arranged for a live orchestra setting.
