i’m here = a robot love story by spike jonze!

renowned director spike jonze has teamed up with absolut vodka to create a short film about a love relationship between two robots living in LA. the result is nothing short of stunning. spike has crafted a 30-minute, visually appealing and emotionally captivating story. as spike himself said in a recent interview for spanish design magazine neo2: “Absolut did not ask me to make a film about vodka, instead they wanted me to create something that was important to me; and allow my imagination to take me anywhere”.

the film, which originally aired at this year’s sundance festival, is now being screened on its official site: i’m here movie. there’s limited availability, but the number of slots should be more than enough for everyone to watch. soundtrack wise, the film features original material by sam spiegel and aska matsumiya, who provided the main song “there are many of us”.

banksy = faceless street art in film!

if you haven’t heard about banksy yet, then you’ve probably been living under a rock! this british street artist is most known for creating satirical pieces of art on topics such as politics, culture, and ethics on walls all over the world using a mixture of graffiti and stenciling. some of his most notable works were done in 2005, when he travelled to palestinian territories and created nine images on israel’s highly controversial west bank barrier.

2010 see’s the release of his first foray into film with “exit through the gift shop”. the movie saw its debut at this year’s edition of the well-known sundance festival in utah. it contains exclusive footage of banksy, and many of the world’s most infamous graffiti artists at work.
