San Sebastian based producer Divorce From New York taps into classic broken beat & house influences on his irresistible remix of “Wagwan”, originally by the Gijon-based Skygaze.

Since emerging as one half of Reykjavik606, whose ‘Endless Summer In Peckham’ album featured contributions from Tenderlonious and Ishmael Ensemble, Alvaro Granda has released two acclaimed albums under the alias Divorce From New York, the latest for London’s High Praise imprint.

Aural architect Skygaze dropped his brilliant ‘Astral Trip EP’ on 2022 via the Seville–based Flumo Recordings. Now he returns to the label with a five track EP promising an advanced fusion of house, broken boogie, and future jazz, with five brand new reinterpretations from the extended Flumo family.

Alongside Divorce From New York (pictured below), solo artist, producer and 30/70 vocalist Alysha Joy, collaborators Footnote and Karmasound, and Skygaze himself under his Jailed Jamie guise, joined by Lorenzo Soria, each put a new spin on tracks from ‘Astral Trip’.

‘Astral Trip Remixes EP’ is released on 5 April on Flumo Recordings.
